Description of the issue:

How can this issue be reproduced?
- Visit a website that requires any permissions.
- A window opens asking to allow or deny the request.
Expected result:
You should be able to close the pop-up by pressing the “X” or respond by accepting or denying the request, causing the window to close.
Brave Version (check About Brave
):
v1.73.104
Additional Information:
@Daedric I’m not having that same issue at all.
to that I clicked Allow
and permissions was granted:
Then I went back and reset permission and hit Deny
, to which it went away and access was not granted.
There should be nothing interfering with it, but I guess would ask if you might be using any extensions or anything? And are you saying it’s occurring on any and all websites where permissions are requested or is this only at one particular location?
Also, just to confirm, are you on Windows 11?
Yes i am on windows 11 i am also using Ublock Origin as plugins/ extensions.
This happens on any website asking for any permission.
I’m having the same issue. Must be due to some extension. But extensions shouldn’t interfere really with Brave core features…
I’m having the same problem on MacOS Sonoma 14.7.1 (23H222), and have been having it for some time. It’s infuriating.
