Passkeys now prevent using Hardware security key on GitHub?

I’ve got a yubikey 5c, I use it to login to several services across both my PC and my phone. This has worked well for some time already. Now I tried to login to GitHub from my phone this evening and when I would normally insert my yubikey, I’m now getting asked to scan a QR code from a different device which has a “passkey” (I think this is related to those new passkeys Google is offering users, just a guess)

I can find no option to use my yubikey and no mention of passkeys on GitHub’s docs.

Everything works fine on PC. Why is mobile doing this? Is it a new feature? I don’t have a passkey for GitHub; they don’t even offer support for using them. My yubikey is my preferred second factor anyway, so what am I doing wrong?
