I think that an option to have the download icon on the toolbar be persistent should be implemented. I use the drag and drop for recent downloads all the time to upload downloaded files to websites. Having the button is much more discrete than the old bar and much smoother than going to brave downloads url and copying. Additionally, no extensions support the drag and drop which is the best part of the download manager.
I would love a setting or just a flag to be made to keep it pinned like there already is for the leo ai or the show sidebar button.
I know his has been requested in the past but I think it is something that is pretty simple and already has features exactly like it.
