Opening links from Microsoft Teams to Brave breaks the design

Description of the issue:
When trying to open a link from Microsoft Teams, it changes and breaks the design of the Brave browser. This only occurs if no other browser windows are open. This then broken design persists until Brave is shut down and re-opened normally.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Open a link that has been sent in Microsoft Teams
  2. See the carnage created

Expected Result:
Link opens normally and no design is broken

Additional information:
I’m using Windows 10 Version 21H1 (Build 19043.1237) and the latest version of the desktop Microsoft Teams.
