There has been a lot of fraud in many places and there are some innocent people who have been incorrectly labeled by the system as participating in that fraud. When you contact staff with that information, they will investigate and help to resolve any issues.
If you have not seen, even places like Uphold have recently prohibited Russia, Ukraine, Philippines, and Vietnam to no longer be able to use their services because of the increased fraud. So the issue is not just with Brave, but it is many things combined.
