I’ve been using Brave on Android for a while and overall I really like the browser, but the built-in video player is seriously lacking. It’s basic, doesn’t have smooth controls, no gesture support, and just doesn’t give a good viewing experience.
In comparison, the video player in Samsung Internet is way better — it supports gestures, easy full screen mode, playback controls, and even background play. Honestly, it makes watching videos so much smoother and enjoyable.
I really hope you consider replacing the current video player or at least improving it to match the quality of Samsung Internet’s. A good media player is important for a lot of users and would make Brave much more competitive.
