NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID despite installing certificate chain in store

There’s a website I use for my job that requires manual installation of the intermediate and root certificates into the windows certificate store to avoid errors when accessing it.

  1. I have installed these certificates
  2. They function properly in other browsers (Edge, Firefox - which I have configured to use the windows store)
  3. My date and time are correct

However, when using that site in Brave I get the “NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID” error.

How can I correct this?
