Does the mobile app have the ability to load pages in the background, without switching to each page, individually and letting them load? I would like to open a bunch of pages and have them ready when I get to them.

Yes, the first time the page is opened if it’s opened in a new tab I believe it loads in the background.
Infact you can stream audio/video sites in the background tab
