Linking Chromebook Icons to Open in Brave Browser

Hi - I am working on a Google Pixelbook Go M3 Chromebook 8GB/64GB. I installed the most recent version of the Brave Browser Linux Build (v1.13.82). There are two things I am having trouble figuring out which if you could help with would be greatly appreciated:

(1) I can’t find my Google Drive in gmail to save or upload files. Aka I want to attach a file to gmail or download a file from gmail to my Google Drive.

(2) I would like my google icons such as gmail, drive, download folder, docs, sheets et al., to open in the brave browser rather than the Chrome browser.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
