Leo is useless and makes the browsing experience actively worse. The answers are worse than any other LLM available, tons of haluzinations, way to small context, forgets stuff you alreaddy ruled out at the beginning.
It add new shortcuts, which generally make typing fast more hazardous, because a single misclick can break my whole thought pattern.
These productivity issues make brave worse that selling my data to google
Thank you for the feedback.
Note that Leo is an option feature â you do not have to use it if you donât want to. The feature can also be disabled entirely from the browser/system using Group Policy.
This may be due to the AI model being used when interacting with Leo: https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/26727364100493-What-are-the-differences-between-Leo-s-AI-Models
some models are only available via Leo Premium
Not entirely clear what shortcuts youâre referring to here. If you can elaborate a bit on what shortcuts youâre referring to here that would be helpful.
At any rate, Brave offers a variety of features and protections that other browsers donât (or donât do as well) and is worth keeping around, even if you donât leverage Leo AI.
Leo is extremely terrible. OK. But are you using a browser for âaiâ or to browse the Internet? As a browser brave is f-ing great. Do you think I use wallet or vpn or other bells and whistles? Hell no
Are they a browser to âblock adsâ or to browse the internet?
Itâs a browser, Leo is optional to use, itâs just one feature. I find at least the premium models extremely useful but if itâs not helpful to you just disable it or donât use it. Same goes for wallet (which I donât use), rewards (which I donât use anymore), the VPN (which I donât use), and the adblocker (which I love).
