Description of the issue:
I have been using Brave to access Outlook on the web and manage my emails. No issues at all until last week. Now, when I try to REPLY to an email, it closes and reopens the Outlook web page. The email ends up in my drafts and I am neither able to edit/add to the reply nor actually send it. I’ve talked to Microsoft and I’ve isolated this to a Brave issue because I do not have the same problem when accessing Outlook from Safari.
Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off?
I have made no changes to the Shields unless it came from an update from Brave. I don’t even know how to access them or what the appropriate settings should be.
Is there a specific Shields configuration that causes the site to break? If so, tell us that configuration. (yes/no):
I don’t know.
Does the site work as expected when using Chrome?
I haven’t tried Chrome - I avoid Chrome - but the site works fine on Safari as indicated above.
Brave version (check About Brave):
Version 1.75.175 Chromium: 133.0.6943.54 (Official Build) (x86_64)
That seemed to work for now. I’ll keep you posted if any other issues come up.
One question: Is there a reason this issue popped up on Outlook and just started last week? It doesn’t happen with other online email programs (e.g., Gmail) and I’ve not had a problem with Outlook until last week.
