I will reuse the problem description from user [pjnsmb] which is still relevant. I have edited it a little and updated info regarding browser version etc. to make it reflect my own today’s situation.
Description of the issue:
On brave browser I scored 16/20 on this website check for ipV6 use :
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Reset all browser settings
- Turn off all extensions
- Remove cookies
- Restart browser
Expected result:
Nothing I have tried will improve my score
Brave Version( check About Brave ):
1.36.109 Chromium: 99.0.4844.51 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Windows 11 64-bit version:

QUESTIONS:
- How can I make Brave use ipv6 as default?
- My firewall does not prevent ICMPv6. Why does Brave prevent it and how can I change that?
