As iOS 14 adds a way to switch the default browser and is in fact available to the public as a beta, I think it would be prudent to set up the iOS release to be considered a valid default.
We will get it as soon as possible. Right now there’s no api yet to make it a default on iOS 14 beta

How about now? From what I’m reading after installing iOS 14, any browser that wants to be eligible for the “default browser” option needs to do some configuration on the app side now.
Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome can do that on iOS 14, hence it’s on Brave to implement the required change.
Should be available for brave.
