Installation problem related to key?

I’ve installed Brave successfully before, but on a new system it fails. I’ve followed the instructions, but get a message about GPG check. I’ve seen a code file https://brave.com/signing-keys/ which might be what it wants, and saved it in my Downloads directory as brave.pgp. Doesn’t work. Maybe the downloads page should say what to do with this file.

Error: GPG check FAILED

I’ve found this page
https://community.brave.com/t/error-gpg-check-failed/104153/8
which suggests
sudo rpm --import https://brave-browser-rpm-release.s3.brave.com/brave-core.asc
It works on Fedora-34 and Brave Version 1.27.111 Chromium: 92.0.4515.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)
