The pdf viewer in brave is very lackluster, because it doesn’t have many of the features the microsoft edge pdf viewer does like annotation, saving where you left off, etc. The ui is very dated, and it is an important way to get users to switch from edge. I love using brave as a browser, but am forced to use edge for pdf reading and annotation because I don’t want to add yet another extension to my browser.
We haven’t changed from Chrome here. Unless Chrome rolls out updated pdfium, or if Edge upstreams changes to Chromium.
