Import from Firefox not working

I’m attempting to import Firefox bookmarks into Brave using “Import bookmarks and settings.”

Brave gives me the following error: “Close Firefox >> To finish importing, close all Firefox windows. Try again. Cancel.” Try again still returns error.

But FF isn’t running and there’re no FF services in memory. I’ve rebooted without running FF and still get this error. I’ve cleared the Brave cache. Still no go.

Running Win10.

Ideas?

Update Reinstalled Brave and get the same error.

@sandro149, Thanks for the information. I’m going to forward and go over this with the team and see if we can find/fix the root cause. In the meantime, you can at the very least export/import both bookmarks and passwords from Firefox manually by performing the following steps: Exporting/Importing Bookmarks In Firefox, go to Menu --> Bookmarks --> Show all bookmarks --> Import/Backup your bookmarks --> Export Bookmarks Save your bookmarksHTML file somewhere and close FF Now open Brave, Me…
