Import chrome data to brave

I’m trying to import my user data from Chrome to Brave. The instructions say to go to the brave menu, click bookmarks, then click import bookmarks. However, once I click bookmarks there are no options. It just says no bookmarks available.

Those instructions are for desktop versions of the browser. Unfortunately there’s no straight-forward way to do this on Android. What I would recommend is the following:

  1. In Chrome, Sync your data from mobile to a desktop version of Chrome.
  2. Install Brave on Desktop, then use the Import bookmarks and settings option to import Chrome desktop data to Brave.
  3. From there, you can use Brave Sync to sync your Brave data across devices.
