When Firefox is originally installed, your Firefox default Profile is the contents of a folder (that has in its name: “default”) within the Profiles folder, located at:
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
When Brave Browser is originally installed, your Brave Browser default Profile is the contents within the Default folder, located at:
%APPDATA%\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default\
Helps you, if the Firefox installation precedes the Brave Browser installation.
Im not really sure what to do now to fix it? Could you please Explain
You wrote: “firefox and brave are downloaded in the same place”
That means, that you downloaded the application installation files for each Internet browser, to the same directory (might be a “Downloads” folder) on your computer.
That downloading does not sound like, you installed either application . . . but I am guessing, that you have also installed both Internet browsers. Correct?
IF you actually installed both Internet browsers, AND you have previously set up, and you have been running, Firefox, then your Firefox profile - user data (such as Bookmarks) - will exist . . . and, you might import some of that info, into your Brave Browser profile:
In a Brave Browser > New Window, go to brave://settings/importData
. . . and a smaller window will display, like:
Enable your choices and click on the Import button.
Both are installed it just wont show it as an option.
Is there a way to manually import it?

Use Firefox, to export its Bookmarks as a file.
Use Brave Browser > Bookmarks Manager, to import that file.
