I have a laptop with windows 11 on it and in my Brave browser my Google account keeps signing out everytime i close the browser. My Other laptop with windows 10 it stays signed inwhich is like it should be. Obviously my Windows 11 is a newer system which is probly causing the problem. How can i fix my windows 11 laptop so that i don’t have to login on my google account every time, such as gmail, youtube, ect, ??

@shetlerbones the above questions were asked for a reason. Things like which version of Brave you’re using is quite important.

Have you made sure to check your Shields settings? For example, do you have it set to block cookies on Google?

What about your settings at brave://settings/clearBrowserData for the On Exit portion, do you have anything selected?

How about the option to clear all cookies and site data when you close all windows, which is at brave://settings/cookies?

Are you using any extensions? If so, try to disable or remove them and see if it still does it.

hey same problem with me too. i tried removing extensions and the problem still persists.

I think it may have something to do with the operating system on the laptop. The computer with windows 11 is giving me the problem of signing out of the Google account. But my windows 10 laptop i setup just the same and it stays logged in when i exit Brave.

By the way . I don’t have any extensions.

Hey all . I found the problem. Click on settings, go to privacy and security, click on "clear browsing data . Then there are 3 tabs on top , basic, advanced, on exit. Click on all 3 and uncheck the “cookies and other site data”
That fixed mine. Hope this helps others.

Guessing just was a minor disconnect in how I phrased things. At least will mark a solution for yours since it seems to be fixed.
