Solution? As suggested in this thread by ArunROG87Razer, my problem was resolved by updating the NVIDIA driver (1650 Super). The problem started after updating the driver. Rolling the driver back did not resolve the issue. However, a subsequent driver update was released by NVIDIA today which, for now, appears to have resolved the problem.
