How many of you would you want to use IRC channel for Brave?

There has been a request that we should set up an IRC channel for power users :point_down:

I personally think it would not happen unless we have a moderation team for the channel to keep it civil. We also have a Discord channel for live discussions.

How many of you would you want to use IRC channel for Brave? :ear:

I’ll be glad to be a moderation team on IRC and Brave Discord channel’s. If you need help on IRC and Brave Discord channel’s. Also if you need help in the brave message forms, Ill be glad to be a moder on brave forms.

Hi suguru,

In the IRC for teaching people on how to use brave browser. Then somebody from brave give a step-by-step process or provide technical instructions to fix the problems that a person have on brave.

IRC have a bug bot use it for posting any bugs that brave have and post it in the IRC Chat Room #BraveBugs Channel or #Bugs Channel.

The only time I was hacked ( in 2 minutes ) was on IRC

why did that happen? Is it because of software vulnerability?

I just installed some OS and went on IRC
"Hey I just installed whatever"
but package did not have firewall activated as default and bozo went on hacker island so immediately I was not my logon anymore. some cracker was in my computer.
Just saying.
