How do you delete a bookmark folder

Right-click on bookmark has no active delete option. How can you delete a bookmark folder?

What operating system are you on and where are you clicking? I just went to double check with my Windows 10 and when I right-click on a bookmark, it comes up with a delete option. The same with folders. The only folders I can’t delete is the primary Bookmarks Folder, as it always has to remain.

And to show, I see it also in my Bookmarks Manager. So if you can help to clarify what device you’re using and what you’re (not) seeing, it can help us. Oh, and might be beneficial to let us know what version of Brave you’re using.

I am using Windows 10 and for folders the delete button is inactive.

It does work in the subfolders but I have 2 main folders, one being “bookmarks” and the other being “other bookmarks” which is the one I want to delete.

Ah, ok. Those two main folders can’t be deleted to my knowledge. You can kind of think of it like saying you want to delete your C drive on your computer. They are the “primary” folders. I can’t remember if “Others” existed right away or if it gets created when you import things over. Then I know if you Sync and have a mobile device, it will also create Mobile folder.

Btw, not sure if you realize, but when you responded using the email client or whatever, but your default settings put in all your phone numbers, email, fax, etc. Not usually a good idea to share all of that openly. Maybe you did it on purpose and don’t care, but wanted to mention so you can keep in mind for the future if you didn’t mean to openly put it for all to see.
