How do I import bookmarks from Safari?

Hi,
I just downloaded Brave but as I was going to import bookmarks and all my settings from Safari I couldn’t find that option anywhere. The only two options I keep being given are to import from Chrome or Firefox… How do I go about to import from Safari?

Hello @batski

go to brave://settings/importData then select safari from the menu then choose what you like to import then click on import

Thank you for your reply. Yes, that’s what I’ve done. But the only options I get there are Firefox, Chrome Person 1 and Bookmarks HTML File. No Safari…

what i do is in safari go to the bookmark manager and export your bookmarks as a html file, save it wherever you want. Then go into brave and browse for that file and import it…easy peasy…have a good day.
