How do I get tweets in online forums to open automatically?

On a discussion forum, many posts include links to tweets. Until this week, those tweets opened automatically in the forum. Beginning this week, they did not open. I have to click on the link, and the twitter page opens. Is there a setting that will allow tweets to open & display automatically without opening the twitter app?

Can you share with me an example url to a forum with a tweet so I can have a look.
Also, can you try creating a new profile and seeing if the issue persists?
Click on the menu icon in the top right corner > create a new profile.
