How do I delete the search field at the top of the screen in the Brave app on the phone?

Is there any way to delete search in the Brave app on your phone? I know this may sound strange, but I need to permanently delete the search field. Alternatively, can I delete the Brave application icon, but leave the shortcut icon installed to one site (I tried to hide the browser icon but my Huwawei y6 2019) there is no such option. I want to limit my browser to one website by blocking the ability to search for other websites.

@Onomatopeja,
There is no way to remove the search field/address bar from the browser. It is one of the main components for any browser and the primary way in which one navigates the web.

Worth noting that, to my knowledge, no other browser has any functionality that will allow you to completely remove the address bar.

@Onomatopeja You could try creating a Progressive Web App (PWA) for the specific website you want to limit the browser to. PWAs work like standalone apps for websites, opening without the standard browser interface. However, not all websites support PWA functionality—sometimes, it just creates a shortcut to the site in the main browser.

Keep in mind that Brave still needs to be installed for PWAs to work, but this approach can help you avoid using the full browser app. Unfortunately, I don’t use Android much these days, so I can’t guarantee this will fully meet your needs. Hopefully, this points you in the right direction!

This is what I use and now I have 2 brave icons 1.My Website and 2.Brave. I would like to remove “2.Brave” from the phone screen, but my phone does not have the option to hide icons of installed applications. Can I delete a file in the phone’s memory that will remove the Brave application icon from my screen and leave the My Website icon?
