My brave ads aren’t coming since january 19th
in my log, I got this [08 Feb 2022, 7:37:51.7 am:INFO:ad_notification_serving.cc(117)] Ad notification not served: Not allowed due to permission rules
This is not the first time that I get this, and I begged support here to clear this.
So, 1 - can you please fix this; 2 - how can I prevent this from happening ?

WHat if I delete my brave folder entirely and start fresh, would this solves that ?

@hashatharias Sorry been so long with nobody responding. I’m not sure I will be able to help as I don’t have exact answers, but I can try to work on some things. What I first need to know though is the information below:
What version of Brave are you using?
What operating system are you on?
Are you using a VPN?
Are you in an ad supported region?
Have you made sure notifications are allowed for Brave? (Such as with Windows, Focus Assist needs to be turned off or it will prevent Brave from displaying ads)
You mentioned “since January 19.” Does this mean you have seen ads and earned BAT prior? If so, did you happen to move or change anything around that time?

No VPN, or extremely rare
Canada is supported region
Notifications are allowed, I get those when I go to the test page
And yes I got a couple of notifications early january, early december, nothing between early october and late november since I had that problem and didn’t noticed it.
Apparently @steeven unlocked my state (?) but it came back.

I got my personal Mac and work Mac, both are serving me ads as intended, wallet linked to Gemini properly.
@hashatharias I know Logs are something I’ve been informed to be wary of, as we often can make assumptions on what it’s telling us but they have it phrased special ways just for them to know. When I was seeing something like “permission rules” I am wanting to think you’ve got something blocking it, like you haven’t given permissions to Brave to do its thing. But that’s only an assumption since I’m a user who only pops in to help. I wish they could teach me more, but that’s not happening…at least not yet.
As much as I hate to say it, the only thing you can do right now is try to contact @Mattches or reach out to @steeven again since he has worked with you before. Make sure you include your Wallet Info from brave://rewards-internals like you did before and explain how it’s been flagged and resolved once, but seems to be flagged again. Ask if they can help you identify the issue and get it resolved so it doesn’t keep occurring. Hopefully they can handle things on the back end like you’re saying Steeven did before but then also maybe walk you through some things to look at so you don’t encounter problems a third time.
