Hi and welcome to the community. Is this what you are looking for?

  1. Go to brave://bookmarks

  2. Click the Organize menu (top right of display under the magnifying glass)

  3. Select folder(s) and click “Sort by Name”

Edit: Just realized only gives the option to sort ascending. I thought for some reason if you clicked it once, ascending, click again, reverse order, but that is not how it is working. Not sure if this was available in the past or if it has always worked this way.
