Hello guys, with an old Nexus tablet, I installed Brave, version 1.60.118, Chromium 1 19.0.6045.163.
It works fine. I saw that there is a button to download videos (I haven’t tried youtube, but other websites).
I wanted to do the same thing with the desktop version on my Macbook Air
Version 1.71.114 Chromium: 130.0.6723.58 (Build officiel) (x86_64)
but I can’t find the download button.
I attach the image of the button in the Android version and the image of the Desktop version.
Can you tell me how to download videos? Thank you.

That download icon is to show you what pages, or files you have downloaded. It is not a tool to download videos. If you open the hamburger (the three lines to the far right) the menu opens, and scroll down through the options until you see “downloads” Brave records your most recent downloaded FILES, but not videos. You will need to use a 3rd party extension or app to download video.
I recently (up until a month ago) was using a third party program to download video. Suddenly it no longer works. I keep looking for information to locate a trusted program to do so. (I was using “clip grab” but now it no longer will download any YT videos. Public ones! \0/ so, I’m on the search for a replacement since this one I’ve been using for years has quit working.
