Horizontal lines appearing on Youtube videos after updating to latest version

Description of the issue: Horizontal coloured lines appear while viewing Youtube videos in fullscreen mode and viewing the timeline scrubber. This started happening as soon as I updated to the newest Brave version just an hour ago.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open a Youtube video
  2. Go to fullscreen mode
  3. Move around your mouse so that the timeline scrubber becomes visible

Expected result: Coloured horizontal lines would appear as long as the timeline scrubber is visible

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.38.109 Chromium: 101.0.4951.41 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: Sometimes, the lines appear in non-fullscreen mode:

Please note that I’ve tried changing the figerprint tracking settings, but that didn’t do anything.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, have a nice day.

I believe @justsomeone1 meant try disabling Hardware Acceleration in brave://settings/system which I would suggest as well :slight_smile:

@justsomeone1 @Mattches Thanks for the help! It worked for me! I experienced these horizontal lines about a year and a half ago on Chrome too so I thought it was a thing with my laptop, but I’m glad it isn’t haha. Y’all were a massive help!! :slight_smile:
