Help to remove Bookmark side panel

I clicked an icon on the browser and a “Bookmarks” side panel has shown up and I can not find and switch to remove it.

I’ve attached a screenshot

Go to Settings > Appearance > Toolbar > Scroll down > Show sidebar button > Disable.

I looked in my “Toolbar” settings and I don not have those options. See the attached screenshot.

@rlmoon Yes you do. It’s right below Show Brave Wallet and above Show Brave VPN button. BTW, it’s called Sidebar, not Bookmark side panel.

@rlmoon also want to give a heads up. Even when it’s disabled, you can still toggle the sidebar on and off. On Windows, it’s Ctrl+B as the default command if I remember correctly.

You can go to brave://settings/system/shortcuts to view what shortcuts you have set. I’m mentioning this as some have unintentionally activated and then had no idea how to deactivate.

Also I’d like to point out that the sidebar has other functionalities beyond just History. For example, you can use Leo from there as well.
