Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. open fox news article

Expected result:
News article opens, but shortly after a popup opens that show a video about the article with some very aggravating music. It is located in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

Version 1.10.97 Chromium: 83.0.4103.116 (Official Build) (64-bit) Linux Mint

Issue doesn’t happen in Fire Fox. In Edge an ad plays and then you get the video.

@jehurleywyo,
Right off the BAT, there’s a high likelihood you’re seeing this because the version you’re using is very outdated. The latest release (at the time of writing this) is v1.26.74.

Please update your browser to the latest build, then check again and see if the issue persists.

Interesting that the browser wasn’t being updated through the normal update process.
Having said that the problem is still there.

Thank you for updating/checking.
Can you please send me a link to an article where you see this behavior?

Here is a link with the problem

@jehurleywyo,
I don’t see any videos/pop-ups appearing on the page – can you share a screenshot of what it looks like on your end? Additionally, can you tell me what your Shields settings are configured too currently? A simple screenshot of this (example below) would be just fine:

The video, showed me details about Britney Spears and other hollywood-related stuff. Not classed as an advert, but sure I can understand its not related to the actual website content.
