Font's Rendering Inconsistently on Mac Since Recent Update

Description of the issue:
Font’s are rendering differently on MacOS Sanoma in Brave and Chrome vs. Safari. In some cases, they’re bolder and less smooth.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open LinkedIn on most recent Brave
  2. Open LinkedIn on most recent Safari
  3. Compare the fonts in the sidebar

Expected result:
Consistent font rendering.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.62.153 Chromium: 121.0.6167.85 (Official Build) (arm64)

Additional Information:
MacOS Sanoma 14.3 (23D56)
Using all default rendering and fontsmoothing options.

A new update was just released which seems to have resolved the issue: Version 1.62.156 Chromium: 121.0.6167.139
