Enabled Brave sync with iOS and Mac. Now Brave intermittently starts on Mac

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Enabled ‘sync’ with iOS and Mac
  2. Select ‘open’ for Brave browser on Mac
  3. Brave doesn’t open, all other browsers work but this one.

Yes, MacOS is currently updated, Brave app for Mac is also up-to-date

Expected result:

Brave browser to open like all the other browsers on my Mac

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and sorry to hear you’re having trouble with Brave. Once a Sync chain is established and both devices are added to the chain, Sync will be “continuous” – that is, it will automatically sync/update data across devices.

I would recommend removing both devices from the chain and starting fresh and we’ll use this thread to troubleshoot any issues. I would also recommend starting the sync chain on the opposite device you started before.
