Brave sync does not open.

I have an existing sync chain setup with 2 macs, an android phone and an iPad. Bookmarks are not sync’ing, so I decided to check why

  1. On macos desktop
  2. Open settings / hamburger menu
  3. Click ‘sync’

Address bar URL changes to chrome://settings/braveSync
but pages stays on settings

This happens on both mac computers. Android opens the sync page and shows all 4 devices in the chain

I would expect sync to open, but it does not

Brave Version 1.3.115 Chromium: 80.0.3987.87 (Official Build) (64-bit)
on MacOS 10.13.6 (17G3025)

Thanks for clarifying it’s a removed. I don’t suppose the regular user would create a ticket here let alone read the release notes - so I would suggest adding a message when clicking the link…

Sync feature temporarily disabled on version 1.3.115. For more details go to Brave Browser settings, click about Brave version, then click on the latest version and it will take you to a site containing detailed information about changes on each version. You could see there that on version 1.3.115 that Brave disabled sync feature that has been causing problems when they released version 1.3.114.
