Eliminating blank space between buttons, address bar, extensions in Brave for Ubuntu

Hey all, I’ve installed Brave for Ubuntu and it works fine, the only issue I have is this blank space that appears on either side of my address bar. It’s not a massive deal, more of a minor annoyance. I’m just wondering if there’s a way to fix it.

I don’t have Linux but I do have Windows and macOS, assuming it’s the same on Linux as those, all you need to do is go to:

  1. Brave Settings
  2. Appearance
  3. Under the “Toolbar” section (near the bottom of the section, three up from teh bottom for me), turn on “Use wide address bar” and BOOM, no more empty space :wink: :+1: hope that works!
