Ecosia on Brave iOS not showing

Description of the issue:
Unable to add Ecosia as search engine on Brave for iOS

How can this issue be reproduced?

1.Open Brave on iOS
2.Open settings
3.Open search engines

Expected result:
Ecosia should be in the list of available search engines in Brave settings in iOS app, it says so in the most recent release notes (1.22.2)

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.22.2

Mobile Device details
iPhone 11 pro max
iOS 14.4

It’s the same with version 1.23 (21.2.12.22).

What country are you from, what is your device’s region set?

I can’t find ecosia on brave’s search engines either.

I’m from Iceland, using Iceland as region.

I have the same problem.

Missing Ecosia search option is the main problem why I didn’t want to switch from Ecosia browser to Brave…

Version 1.23.1 (21.2.24.16)
Device iPhone13,1 (iOS 14.4)

It works fine for me. It was the last one on the list. I’m in the US

Yeah, Ecosia is currently limited to certain regions.
However in next build, 1.24 we add ability to add custom search engines, then everyone should be able to set Ecosia as their search engine

new app version is out: 1.24
we added support for adding custom search engines there,
you should be able to add Ecosia using this build, no matter what region you are in
