Description of the issue:
This issue happens randomly at times, but to the same type of dropdown menu on sites (e.g. https://www.coingecko.com/en, on the top dropdown menu (coins, exchanges, defi…). I can click open the dropdown menu, but when I try to click on any highlighted entry as my mouse hovers on it, the menu would just close like I clicked on somewhere else. When this happens, the issue may be gone all by itself some time later, but just close-reopen the concerning tab can’t get rid of the problem (I believe the recovery is related to something else I did but I don’t know what it is)
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Sometime suddenly, when I try to click open a dropdown menu on a site, selecting to open an entry in it would not work as if I clicked on somewhere else. And after sometime without me restarting brave, the issue is gone all by itself, without me even refreshing the page.
I have not found the pattern of when this would happen.
Expected result:
Clicking on a dropdown menu entry would lead me to the new page.
