Deleted Bookmarks Folder

Hi

SUMMARY OF THE METHOD: Your bookmarks are saved in a files named bookmarks.bak @ C:\Users*your pc name*\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default . You need first to convert it to html, then import it to Brave.

  1. First go to https://rongjiecomputer.github.io/chrome/bookmark-recovery/#windows
  2. Click on Choose file and chosoe the file bookmarks.bak located at C:\Users*your pc name*\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default
  3. When finished converting, download the file.
  4. Open Brave, click on the menu (hamburger icon), click on Bookmarks then choose Import Bookmarks and Settings
  5. Choose Bookmark HTML file (as in the image) then go to the file you just converted to HTML and import it.

  1. An Imported folder will appear on the bookmarks bar; open it, hold the deleted folder and move it onto the bookmarks bar.
