Default new tab wallpapers from previous version

Hello,

I noticed today that on the latest version of Brave (V1.33.106), the default wallpaper photographs for the new tabs have been changed. That is great, they all look good, I was simply wondering if there was a way to find the old ones. Perhaps by downloading a previous version? If so, how could I do that?

That’s a great question. It seems like they update them periodically. A couple reference links:

Maybe deep-diving in there will help track them down? Unclear if they’re posted publicly.

So possibly some of them came from there.

Thank you for the suggestion. I looked through the commit history of multiple files, and was able to find links for most of the old images:
