Dark reader extension doesn't work in local files and in chrome web store

Hello, I use the dark reader extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dark-reader/eimadpbcbfnmbkopoojfekhnkhdbieeh) but I have some problems:

Description of the issue: I can’t make it work in local PDF files (it works in web PDF files) and in the chrome web store. For a local PDF file the extension shows as normal, but doesn’t convert to dark the PDF. In the chrome web store a message seeing “This page is protected by browser” appears.
To reproduce these issue download the extension and open the crome web store or a local PDF.

Brave Version: 1.27.109

Additional information: These seems to be a problem width any extension not only dark reader, and with any local file, not only PDF.

Not even dark mode flags work on pdf, pal. It’d be very interesting otherwise.
