Browser not remembering extension settings

Browser not remembering extension options, namely the Dark Reader extension.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install dark reader extension
  2. Go to devtools and add some custom css
  3. Close browser and reopen and any customization is gone

Expected result:
Custom css should stay

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.32.113 Chromium: 96.0.4664.45 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
This just started happening I’m assuming after an update.
