I’m here to open this topic because of a very recurrent bug I encounter on Brave. Indeed when I have to open a dialog box to import files on a site or download something, Brave gets stuck, I am forced to kill it in the task manager, restart it, then restore the pages to finally download or import. This problem is recurrent and painful, it sometimes even forces me to leave Brave like the last time I was with Microsoft chat support and they wanted me to download their remote control tool: Brave result crashed and I lost contact with the Microsoft assistant…
I would therefore like to find a solution quickly.
I am under the latest version of Brave and my Windows is up to date.

I am not sure this is Brave’s issue.
Where do you download the file to HDD or SSD? You should check if your disk became unstable.
Do you use antivirus? Maybe it is antivirus that is the problem.

I have the version 0.65.121 Chromium: 75.0.3770.100 (Official build) (64 bits). As for Windows, I have the latest version, Windows 10 1903.
Brave is installed on the system disk (SSD) and I have no other antivirus than windows defender
