Countries do not match

Briefly describe your issue:
When I try to connect my uphold account to linux it tells me that the countries don’t match, even though in reality they do. On Windows I have the same settings and do not have this prolema

What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)?
Ubuntu 22.10

Is your Brave Rewards Profile currently verified? (yes/no)

What date did you connect a your Brave Rewards Profile?

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)

Are you in a supported region (see here for list of supported regions)?

Have you manually turned off Auto-contribute on all of your devices?

The issue happens when the Passport of the country you submitted to Uphold for KYC does not match the one you chose in Brave rewards.

Yes, that is true. But just as an additional layer to verify your region so as to show ads active in your region, this effort has been made.

So according to you if a person moves to another country, he will not be able to use more brave rewards until he gets citizenship in the new country?

Nope. I shared the post having the solution in it.

Solution to country mismatch

So do I have to lose the bat earned so far and not synchronized with uphold?
