Chinese typing error for ubuntu version

Description of the issue:
Brave will not display any chinese typing in chatbox

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):
1.
Launch Brave
2. Visit any website, then press CTRL + T (or CMD + T) to open a new tab
3. type any chinese character in url box

Actual Result (when I want to type in chinese but only come out English):
when I choose fcitx5-rime and cangjie 5 for fcitx5
today is 4 Apr 2025, the bug never happened yet before.

Expected R esult:
chinese words should be come out

I have this same error for Japanese typing, on Ubuntu as well. Works everywhere else on the computer, even on different browsers. Won’t work in Brave anymore after the recent update.
