Description of the issue:
Ever since the Brave IPFS support released, I have been unable to get it working. Whenever I try to load any kind of IPFS resources, such as the ipfs.io site, I get the following error:
"Can’t load IPFS resources using Brave local IPFS node
Failed to use the local IPFS node to load the requested IPFS resources. Click the “Proceed” button to use the public gateway instead, and to fall back automatically to the public gateway in the future."
When I press the “Proceed with Public Gateway” button, I get:
“ipfs resolve -r /ipns/docs-ipfs-io.ipns.dweb.link/concepts/privacy/: could not resolve name: “docs-ipfs-io.ipns.dweb.link” is missing a DNSLink record (https://docs.ipfs.io/concepts/dnslink/)”
I have IPFS companion installed, and my node shows as “offline” even though I’ve tried to start it many times.
If information on specific settings are required, I will provide.
Expected result:
Able to access IPFS resources.
