Can't link to uphold on android

Description of the issue:
When i try to link my brave application on android, i can log in to uphold but once i’m logged in brave doesn’t seem to “see” it. The linked account doesn’t sync and the browser resquest me to log in again.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Click on Verify wallet
  2. Log in to uphold
  3. Enter the validation code from authenticator
  4. Validate from mail
  5. Back to step 1 the wallet is not verified
    Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
    Wallet not verified
    Expected result:
    Wallet verified and synced with uphold
    Reproduces how often:
    Every time
    Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
    Brave 1.30.87 / Chromium 94.0.4606.71
    Android 11;Build/RKQ1.201022.002

I’m having the exact same issue. Only difference is that I’m running Android 12. Brave application version is exactly the same, too. The app is a part of a sync chain in case that matters.

EDIT: Something else I’ve noticed that may or may not be related is that I can’t turn on Ads in chrome://rewards. If I flip it on the app instantly closes/crashes and when I relaunch and check the setting it has reverted back to off.
