Can't install themes on Brave after reset settings

Description of the issue: I made a theme on themebeta and used it on Brave for months, Today I reseted my settings, but I can’t install any chrome themes. I only have my beloved theme on brave developer now:/

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Tried to install a theme beta theme
  2. Got error: CRX_REQUIRED_PROOF_MISSING

Expected result: Install a chrome theme

Brave Version( check About Brave): 0.68.132 Chromium: 76.0.3809.132

Additional Information: That was my favorite theme, if there’s any way to revert it back or import brave developer data to use my theme again let me know</3

Are you able to install other themes from the Chrome store?

Yes, apparently the chrome store themes changed their format(?) @Mattches

So the issue is specific to this theme in which you’re tryin to install.
Do you have Developer mode enabled? If not, do so and try to install the theme again.
Settings --> Extensions --> Developer Mode (top left)

Some months ago I was able to install any theme from themebeta, apparently chrome store changed their format, since other themes doesn’t work on chrome too.

I alredy tried developer mode, but got the same error.

UPDATE

EDIT: Unfortunately it resets the theme every time I turn my pc off, but yeah it works:u

Steps:

1: Download zip file from themebeta, or extract CRX file on http://crxextractor.com/

2: Create a new folder and put the archives inside

3: Upload them using developer mode to brave
