Can't create Brave Rewards

Hey y’all, first post here. I’ve been using Brave for a while now, and now that it’s Reward system is finally up and moving I’m trying to sign up. Every time I do by clicking “Yes, I’m in” or “Activate Rewards” it just gives me the error message saying “Wallet Creation Failed” and to recheck my internet connection. The connection is totally, fine, I’m using it now to listen to music in the background on Youtube and post this message. It’s been doing this for months. Anyone else experience this or know a fix? I have BAT holdings so I feel like I’d be a terrible investor if I wasn’t also in on this lol
