Can't allow pasting code in Dev Tools and disable warning about Self-XSS

Description of the issue: In Google Chrome there is exists an option “Show warning about self-XSS when pasting code” that allows to disable the prevention of pasting to the console. But in Breve there is no such option.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open DevTool
  2. Setting’s icon
  3. Experiments
  4. Search for “Show warning about self-XSS when pasting code”

Expected result: Have the option “Show warning about self-XSS when pasting code”.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.66.118 Chromium: 125.0.6422.147 (Official Build) (64-bit)

So I opened Brave and checked to see that you’re right and I do not in fact see this option. However, I’m now looking in Chrome as well and I do not see the option there either.

It looks like this option was removed from Chromium. You instead need to type Allow pasting into the console to disable this feature — Dev Tools & Donuts (which is an awesome site I just found when looking this up so thanks for that!) explains it nicely:
