Cannot upload because no upload window shows up

Description of the issue:
I downloaded brave-bin with
yay -S brave-bin
which gave me brave-bin-1:1.76.81-1
When I tried to upload files using MsTeams for Google Drive, the upload window didn’t show up, so nothing happened.

Normally an upload wizard window would open and let me select files to uploads.

I tried disabling shield and delete cookies but the issue persisted.
